Sales & Marketing Manager (Czech market)

Job description

We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager for the Czech market to support our customers across Europe and develop our sales business in Czech.

This role is very important from a strategic and operational point of view for us and our customers and supports in the development of local e-shop and cooperation with other sales managers across Europe on achieving company goals. This role is a direct report to the Regional Director CEE.


Your tasks:

  • Monitoring and analysis of sales KPIs e.g. growth, revenue, profit margin and retention,
  • Acting as people manager for the local team members and coordinating the tasks,
  • Optimization of online shops to drive sales and profitability,
  • Support in development of local pricing strategy,
  • Ongoing monitoring and analysis of trends and competition on the Czech and Slovak pet market,
  • Evaluation of online sales promotions and other direct marketing activities,
  • Monitoring key metrics in online marketing channels,
  • Close cooperation with other international zooplus offices,
  • Other administrative tasks and supporting additional projects if needed.

Requirements

  • Native Czech, English working proficiency,
  • Strength in analyzing business relevant KPIs and practical Excel knowledge,
  • Ability to interpret data, metrics, trends and draw conclusions,
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience,
  • People management skills related to e.g. recruiting, personal development, performance feedback,
  • Very good communications skills and a positive attitude at daily work,
  • A strong quality consciousness, clear results focus and implementation skills,
  • Experience in pet market, e-commerce and online marketing would be an advantage.
