About The Role

As a Purchasing Support Specialist, you oversee transactional procurement activities to ensure accurate and timely information and data to support other teams, especially Global Strategic Sourcing, Master Data, IT and Accounts Payables. You are responsible for ensuring the complete and proper creation and curation of S2P master data. You ensure a smooth process flow from the beginning of the process chain.


  • Managing, creating, and maintaining supplier master data,
  • Managing business relationships, taking ownership of requests and issues (including more complex ones) as well as following them through to resolution,
  • Creating & maintaining on-invoice conditions based on contractual agreement in SAP,
  • Creating & maintaining off-invoice conditions based on contractual agreement in SAP,
  • Entering and maintaining of list prices,
  • Assigning calculation schemas to Business Partners,
  • Maintaining of additional acquisition costs,
  • Maintaining of promotional prices,
  • Linking articles to the VSRs – contract product groups, on which some rebates relay,
  • Contract sanity checks and keeping track of the contracts' lifecycles,
  • First line of contact for replenishers and invoice controllers about pricing matters,
  • Invoice control,
  • Check of pricelists and ensuring 4-eyes principle,
  • Leading or taking part in improvement or knowledge management initiatives and supporting creation of best-in-class Purchasing practices across functions,
  • Assisting and upskilling other Team members,
  • Being responsible for data analysis and compliance reporting,
  • Supporting other special procurement activities and analyses as needed.


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in global or regional procurement, master data or supply chain function,
  • Bachelor’s preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Accounting, Finance or Economics,
  • Excellent understanding of SAP S/4HANA and core S2P ERP processes; ideally experience in JIRA,
  • Very good skills of office applications, especially Excel,
  • Analytical skills,
  • Ability to work with finance / corporate data - willingness to learn and develop skills in complex data environment,
  • Profound attention to detail and understanding of process compliance,
  • A high level of personal responsibility,
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as demonstrated by the ability to work effectively with others at all levels of the organization and externally with suppliers,
  • You structure your tasks and processes optimally and act as part of well-organized team,
  • You can communicate well in English. German would be an asset.
