DevOps Engineer
Job description
What you will use on a daily basis. The more you know, the better, but in any case we can train you in these areas.
Must have:
- AWS (IAM, EC2, VPC, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Route53, Elasticsearch, RDS, Elasticache)
- Docker (Mesos+Marathon or Kubernetes experience would be a plus)
- Terraform
- Jenkins, pipeline DSL, job DSL
Nice to have:
- ELK stack
- TICK stack
- Grafana
- Sensu or other monitoring solution
- Java/JVM tuning knowledge
- At least one programming language (bash doesn't count).
Requirements
- Willingness to drive DevOps mindset in the company,
- Support dev teams in systems related tasks (Monitoring, CI/CD, generally our tech stack),
- Coach teams about DevOps tools, methodologies and procedures,
- Be a good tutor: adapt to different maturity levels of the teams,
- Find common places among teams, encourage collaboration,
- Support operations of critical services,
- Drive cloud adoption,
- Encourage best practices.
We would love to see also:
- Passion to automate anything you've done more than twice,
- Feeling comfortable with the idea of cross-functional teams,
- Ability to mentor other people about the best practices in project development & maintenance within dev teams (CI, CD, monitoring and alerting),
- Communicative level of English.
