Agile Coach

Job description

As an Agile Coach you will work with all levels and areas of the organization as well as the entire IT team. You will use your depth of knowledge to act as a mentor, consultant, coach, and advisor supporting all Agile applications. Together with a team of other Agile Coaches (Marcin, Manuela, Marina, Silvia, Ignacio), you will work on one shared goal of transferring the Agile mindset, values, practices and skills to create a healthy and safe ecosystem that is self-monitoring, self-correcting and self-sustaining.



Your day of work starts with a coffee and some meetings with the team. Then you help department leaders to plan next quarter. After lunch, with other Agile Coaches, you prepare the workshop for people leaders. At the end of the day, you participate in the weekly top management sync.

For the rest of week, you have plenty of meetings with development teams and managers to help them with understanding the agile mindset, values, and practices. What is more, you are in sync with other Agile Coaches, and your manager to share some ideas, thoughts, and brainstorm together.


Through your daily work, you will

  • Support the organization to improve its overall processes related to software development​
  • Support cross-team initiatives and project​s
  • Help teams to reach the stars
  • Foster self-organization and self-responsibility within teams​
  • Create a safe environment and remove impediments enabling teams and individuals to be focused on problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Promote transparency to foster collaboration

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with different frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience with moderation, coaching and conflict management
  • Ability to work in a way that is autonomous, self-responsible and self-organized
  • Very familiar to systems thinking
  • Experience in agile transformation of teams and organizations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Experience of coaching, teaching, facilitating teams and individuals on different levels of the organization
